Recently Jennifer shared about changes we've made in some of our Christmas traditions. Another change is that this Christmas, in your honor, we have bought a SHEEP! Yes that’s right, a sheep. Instead of spending the money it usually takes us to send Christmas cards (which really starts to add up), we have used the money to purchase a sheep through World Vision to help a needy family care for their children. Not only will this gift help satisfy the physical needs of a family, but it will also meet spiritual needs by sharing the love of Christ Jesus. ReplyDeleteThank you so much! In our children's stockings this year, my parents gave them each a flock of chickens. Part of their fondest memories of growing up at my parents house is that they always had chickens or geese for the grandchildren. They have been asking for more,even as old as my kids are. So, instead, my parents bought 5 flocks of chickens for others around the world. The grandkids were so proud of their chickens! It is truly wonderful to give gifts like this. You have blessed us tremendously.
